Cooper Foods’ Chalk Down Farm range of carefully selected quality fresh meat is for many gastro pubs, hotels and restaurants their preferred choice when choosing a wholesale butcher. As a Chef and Caterer you know that you are consistently buying and serving quality British meat that will bring your customers back time and time again.

The Chalk Down Farm brand includes carefully selected Himalayan Salt Aged and Dry Aged British Steer Beef and Lamb products including our own bespoke rib-cap and chuck Beef Burgers, roasting joints, steaks and also a select range of chicken.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I set up a trade account?

Please call our friendly sales team on 01264 321050 to arrange for a sales rep to contact you to discuss your requirements. Once your account is set up, orders can be placed by phone, email, rekki and we are launching online ordering soon.

Do you have a minimum order value?

Yes, Our minimum order is £40.00.

How long do your offers last?

We send out van specials bi-monthly. Our email special offers are sent out by 10am Monday – Friday and are valid until 4pm (subject to availability). Wholesale customes can click here to receive updates on our daily specials via email. If you would like to open a wholesale account, you can register here.

What time can I place an order?

Orders for next-day delivery can be placed any time up until midnight. Any orders placed after this time will not be processed until the office is manned the following day. The order will be delivered on your next scheduled delivery date. Our delivery days are Tuesday – Saturday (subject to location)

Where do you deliver?

Ideally situated in Andover, we deliver to Berkshire, Gloucestershire, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.

Where do you source your produce?

We work hard to source the best ingredients, so you don’t have to! We have chosen to source most of our fresh fish from Brixham fish market, market leaders on sustainability. We have established relationships with many other trusted local suppliers and regularly vet their sustainability credentials, to ensure we’re sourcing the best quality produce with the least impact on the environment.

Do you sell vegan and/or gluten free products ?

Yes, We have a range of Vegan and Gluten Free products available, including fishcakes, blanchbait, pies & desserts. Call the sales team on 01264 321050 to discuss further.

Do you sell vegetables?

Currently we offer a small range of frozen vegetables, we are looking to increase this range in the near future.

Do you sell bread?

At present we sell two types of frozen, thaw and serve Brioche Buns, one of which is plant based and suitable for a vegan menu, both are pre sliced.

Do you sell chips?

Yes we do sell chips. Please call our sales team on 01264 321050 for more details and to place an order.

Do you sell fresh lobsters?

Yes, we have a lobster tank on site and so can supply fresh lobsters (subject to availability). Please call the office on 01264 321050 to enquire.

Do you sell venison?

Yes we do. Please call the office Monday to Friday between 9am-3pm to discuss this further.

How many sausages do you get in 1kg?

1kg of sausages equates to approximately 12 to 13 linked 6’s.

Do you have a retail shop?

We do not have a retail shop, however we have a retail website www.cooperfoodsdirect.co.uk. Retail customers can place orders and will be contacted by our sales team to arrange the delivery of goods.
